A sweet treat that gives back.

On June 24, River Street Sweets is celebrating National Pralines Day by supporting Feeding America’s Kids Café Program, which helps provide meals to children during the summer months when school is out.

From June 24–28, 10% of all praline sales, both in-store and online, will be donated to support this incredible cause.

Even sweeter? Just $1 can help provide 5 meals.

We recently stopped by River Street Sweets to see their famous pralines being made fresh and learn more about the impact this partnership is making. It’s a reminder that sometimes something as simple as a praline can help make a difference in a child’s life.

It began with a simple question about sugar-free candy and became an unforgettable act of kindness. ❤️

When a customer called our Sarasota store looking for sugar-free peanut butter cups for her husband’s birthday, Tyler learned she was unable to drive. His thoughtful gesture turned a simple request into a meaningful moment of care, encouragement, and joy.

We are proud to spotlight Tyler Quattlander for showing what good old-fashioned hospitality truly looks like.

Her note read:

“Tyler,

Thank you so much for your incredible thoughtfulness and kindness. It means more than I can say that you went out of your way to bring this special blessing to our home.

With my husband being so sick and my not being able to drive right now, your willingness to drive this candy to me has been such an encouragement. Acts of kindness like yours remind us that God often shows His love through the caring hearts of others.
