We had a special guest in the dining room this week! Major General Todd Hunt, who leads the North Carolina National Guard, stopped in to eat with us, and he has Greenville roots of his own, earning his Army commission through ROTC at ECU. We are thankful for his service and for every soldier and airman who serves our state, so having him at our table was an honor! Come back anytime, General! 🇺🇸💛

Everybody has an opinion about barbecue sauce until they grow up on vinegar, and then it stops being an opinion and turns into just how barbecue is supposed to taste. That's the Eastern North Carolina way! 🐷💛

Our sauces are available for purchase in store, at local retailers and online for our friends who live out of state!

Sunday is the one day the table gets crowded on purpose. Grandparents, kids, whoever came home this weekend, somebody's neighbor who got invited last minute. Plates keep coming and nobody is in a hurry to leave.

That is the good stuff.

"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men." Colossians 3:23 💛
