Dear Wings To Go Family,

With all the rumors going around about Wings To Go closing, I wanted to take a moment to clear things up and share the truth with you.

First off, the City of Greenville is not forcing us out due to the Traders Road extension. That project is expected to begin soon, but it’s not the reason we’re closing.

Many of you know that I was diagnosed with leukemia back in 2016. Even through treatments and hospital stays, I kept running Wings To Go — sometimes from my hospital bed. For the past 21 years, I’ve poured everything I had into this restaurant, and I’m happy to say that today, my health is good.

The City of Greenville and this amazing community have supported us through it all — and I’ve always tried to give back just as much. As a small business owner, being part of the community matters. Over the years, we’ve made both monetary and food donations to many local organizations. We did that because you stood by us — through the good times and the hard ones, like COVID. We never closed our doors for a single day during the pandemic, and that was only possible because of your continued support.

As the community grows and more new restaurants open, it’s more important than ever to support local businesses — we truly depend on you.

With all that being said, our ownership group has made the decision to lease the space to a new business. We ask that you show them the same love and support that you’ve given us over the past 21 years.

Dear Wings To Go Family,

After 21 unforgettable years, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Wings To Go.

This decision was not made lightly. For over two decades, this place has been more than just a restaurant — it’s been our second home, our passion, and a part of this community’s heartbeat. We’ve had the incredible honor of serving hot wings, cold drinks, and warm memories to generations of families, friends, and fans.

To our amazing team — past and present — thank you for your hard work, heart, and hustle. You’ve been the backbone of everything we’ve built here.

To our loyal customers — thank you for letting us be part of your lives. Whether you were a regular at the counter, a game-day takeout hero, or just stopped by for a quick bite, you were part of the Wings To Go story. Your support has meant the world to us.

We’re proud of the 21 years we’ve had. Full of laughter, full bellies, and full hearts.

Our final day will be April 27th. Until then, we invite you to stop by, share your favorite memories, and let us say thank you the best way we know how — with great food and even greater gratitude.
