Headed home from the Eastern Carolina BBQ Throwdown. When the dust settled we managed a 1st place rib, 2nd place pork and a 10th place Brisket!!!

Good enough to leave us 4th overall!!

Congrats to Smoke Central on Grand and to Smokin Skullies on Reserve.

Back home from the Fire in the Foothills BBQ Competition and Festival. We managed to hear our names for a 3rd Place Pork and a 1st Place Brisket!!!

Good enough to make us Reserve Grand Champions!!!

The Pigmasters BBQ Challenge is in the books

Mattie started it off with a 1st place dessert with her apple cheesecake!!

We managed a 10th place rib, 1st place pork and 4th place Brisket. Good enough to leave us 7th overall!!

Congrats to Smoking Skullies on Grand and to Muttley Crew on Reserve.

On to King next weekend!!

Rutherford College this weekend for the Pigmasters BBQ Challenge!!

This one feels different — our first contest without Dad. We’re carrying on his tradition the best way we know how, keeping the smoke rolling and honoring what he loved.

The memorial is Sunday from 3pm-8pm

Back home from one of the best contests on the East Coast — the South Carolina Festival of Discovery in Greenwood, SC!

We managed a 6th place pork call and finished 33rd overall.

Mattie placed 3rd in dessert with her strawberry swirl cheesecake!!

Huge congrats to Smokin’ Sweetmeats on Grand and to Elite BBQ Smokers on Reserve!

A big thank-you to all the staff and volunteers who make this event run so smoothly year after year — your hard work, hospitality, and dedication don’t go unnoticed. We appreciate everything you do to make this such a top-notch contest

Headed home from the American Royal World Series of BBQ. Yesterday was the Open contest with 444 teams competing

For the Open contest we managed

88th Chicken
82nd Ribs
73rd Pork
206th Brisket

Leaving us with a 692.5 and 61st overall
