Drinking coffee might be one of the healthiest parts of your day. ☕

A new scientific statement from the American Heart Association suggests that, for most adults, drinking coffee is associated with a lower risk of stroke, type 2 diabetes, and heart failure.
A few important notes: • This doesn't mean coffee is medicine. • More isn't always better. • The research is about coffee—not energy drinks or synthetic caffeine.

We just think it's nice when something you already love comes with a few potential perks.

Usually, it isn't the ice.
If your iced coffee tastes watered down after a few minutes, it's often one of three things:

You're brewing it too weak.
You're pouring it over too much ice.
You're starting with coffee that isn't fresh.

Fresh matters most. It's why we roast small batches all week in Greenport instead of months ahead.

🥗 Kale Salad Baby kale, goat cheese, dried cranberries, pepitas, and our house-made strawberry basil lemon dressing.

🥗 Spinach Salad Baby spinach, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber, and our house-made balsamic vinaigrette.

Every dressing is made from scratch in our café.
