First, thanks so much to the community for all of your support!

Our first month at Gem’s Alehouse has been a month of many changes for me since everything is new: the food, beverages, and systems.

After having worked so many years in Mexican Restaurants, starting this project and getting out of my comfort zone hasn’t been easy on one hand, but at the same time, with all of the support from my coworkers it hasn’t been too difficult either.

My goal is to bring a family restaurant to the community, with excellent service in one of the most iconic buildings of Greencastle: The McLaughlin Hotel established in 1904.
