The quest for the perfect rib never ends!
Tried a different technique on these ribs today. While the flavor was spot on, the texture wasn't quite up to my standards yet.
Back to the lab to tweak the process and try again. Good isn't good enough when it can be great!

It's been a minute since posting anything. Has been a busy year. But now that things have calmed down we are back to smoking some great food!
For Thanksgiving I was asked to smoke a turkey breast for some friends and then a whole turkey for the family. Both came out great!! Can't forget about the smoked cream cheese with KupKate's Sweet Treats special cranberry holiday sauce!

It’s that time of year again, folks—BBQ season is officially kicking off! Fired up my new smoker to get some practice in, and these spare ribs turned out absolutely phenomenal! Juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Big shoutout to for the amazing rubs and for the bold and delicious mustard. Let the smoking season begin!

My wonderful wife got me a new smoker for Christmas!! 3rd cook on the new Recteq Backyard Beast is a prime rib for New Years. It has done great so far! Cannot wait to start taking it to competitions this next year

Had a blast cooking at a friend's WW2 event this weekend! Had a great turnout and met really nice wonderful people! Couldn't have asked for a better day with family and friends!

Had a blast practicing brisket and chicken for an October event! We celebrated with a Texas Longhorns win in their season opener, and the food turned out amazing! 🎉🍗🏈"

Had a great time at this year's 1st backyard competition of the year at the Merc in Mead, co. Had a great time making ribs, chili and dessert for this one. Dint get a chance to get a photo of the dessert 🤦🏽‍♂️

Made some pulled pork this weekend and used it for bbq pork pita pizzas! Super yummy!
Mr. Kole is practicing ribs for an upcoming competition and I gotta say, I am happy to be a taste tester for him!
