One thing Kenny believes in is making sure are portions match up to our prices. 8oz of fish always. Ribeye is almost always over 16oz. When in doubt, always add a little extra.

I was running expo this week and handed a plate back to Jelini to take some f the green beans off the plate. It was mad busy and we don’t have time to talk during peak times in the kitchen. He said “Tabs, they didn’t want the mash on their plate so I wanted them to have enough food so I gave them more green beans okay.” And he was right.

We love y’all. We are sad this summer season is wrapping up. I got to see so many of my families I missed last year. I missed seeing some of my families this year and I’ve met so many new families. Yes, I said my families and not our families. ♥️😂

We are sad to say goodbye to our crew that is headed back to college. It’s been nice having the same team in place this summer as last summer.

Grouper coming off the line. There is no room in our tiny kitchen to hold food once it’s cooked. It has to come off the line and to your table as quickly as possible to maintain flow. 💙

Will be pre-selling wristbands now until noon the day of! $40 pre sale & $45 at the door!

Our sweet Hudson was in a car accident in June. His recovery is going to be very extensive and require very lengthy rehabilitation. We want to raise money so his family can focus on Hudson’s recovery.

I chose this video as the lead for this post because it captures him so honestly. That sweet quiet drop of the head when he is feeling slightly embarrassed or like “oh man” …. I have watched this video along with many others on repeat tonight while working on the details of Sunday’s fundraiser. I love this kid so freaking much and his sister, Stella and his whole dang family. Y’all come out, eat some food and bid stupid prices on silent auction items so generously donated by our locals here and from his hometown of Andalusia. Hudson is 18 and was involved in a car accident. He is still unconscious and in the hospital. His Road to recovery is a long one. We want to make sure his family is able to focus on him and his recovery. Every one dollar adds up and sharing information in our community help.

11:30 pm - These smiles. Last night was magic with some sparkles on top! My only regret from yesterday is not getting everyone for this photo before they left. Just like so many other businesses yesterday, we lost power right after 5pm yesterday. We immediately went into triage- call our families, delay reservations until we know more. No one dare open a prep cooler or the walk in! 😂

Power back on right before 6pm. Reach back out to our families to come on! Now the restaurant is filling up with alllll of our families booked at 5pm but now also everyone else booked at 6pm is arriving and by 630 the kitchen has been sent tickets for almost every table we have.

At the end of the night, after the last ticket - all I could say was “how in the world did y’all pull that off”. It was pure magic.

And to our families. We had the most incredible evening with y’all. Our OG’s were in last night, so many locals, and our first timers. So much gratitude for all of you. What a love filled night.

Special shout out to the Berry Family who had just sat down inside for dinner when the power went out. They hung out and just waited to see what would happen and we are so glad they did. Hope your family photos after dinner were perfect. 💖

Let’s do it again tonight! (Not the lack of power part)
