Hey Y’all, We need your help💙 We want to first take this moment to thank all of you for making Grayton Seafood the special place that we’ve always intended it to be. If you have dined with us in the last three years, you have met Hudson. His family owns Aura, the adorable gift & decor shop here in Grayton.
Hudson started with us bussing tables & is now a server, a host, a dishwasher, a cook, expo, ALL the things, an incredibly capable feat in our book for such a young man! Hudson is curious, intelligent, humble, hilarious, kind & is an integral part of the foundation of this restaurant.
We need your help. Hudson was in a severe car accident three weeks ago. He sustained extensive physical trauma, is still unconscious & on a ventilator. We must believe he is fighting so hard. As you would expect, his mom and dad have not left the hospital room.
We are raising money to make sure the family can focus on Hudson & his road ahead right now, not on the financial worries that invariably arise in these situations. I doubt there are many of us whose families are unfamiliar with the devastating monetary worries that accompany these tragedies.
We have started a GoFundMe for his family which I’ve posted to our bio. You can also donate directly using the Venmo - ForHudson26
We will be throwing an all you can eat old fashioned fish fry parking lot party in the next few weeks. Every single dollar paid as a cover, spent on silent auction, & donated will be given to the family.
If you are an artist, local business, handyman, a person with something cool at home to donate to the silent auction/raffle, or a musician who’s interested in playing a set that evening, you can reach out to me directly or message/call me at 850-714-2155.
We are a small but powerful tribe & have always come together in the best way to help our own!
Hug your people. We love you.
Tabs and Kenny
The fish fry fundraiser will also be raising funds for our friend, neighbor & artist Dwight. His family & the community are coming together to make sure Dwight can stay in his home as long as possible. More info. to come.
