We have a new mascot!!! Welcome Thor to the ZoZo Bean Team.

In August of 2021, we unexpectedly lost our sweet Zoe to cancer at only 7 years old. Zoe was not only the face of ZoZo Bean but the inspiration for a company that was based on loving and supporting our community while helping save the lives of other rescue dogs like Zoe (and cats...yes, we love them too.) 😉

Zoe can never be replaced. But we have found a new pup that is helping fill that overwhelming void that she left behind. And his name is Thor. 🥰

Rescue animals have taught us a lot about unconditional love but many of those animals never see that love returned. This is why ZoZo Bean Coffee gives it's proceeds to local animal rescues, to help save these sweet animals and give them a chance to not only be loved, but to teach other humans how to love selflessly and unconditionally too. 💕

Zoe has left behind a beautiful legacy and a permanent mark in our lives and hearts. Thor will continue in that legacy.

Last night, I had the honor of meeting Jordyn and Jackie. They are the mother/daughter duo behind Jordyn's Summer Shirt Project.

Our companies began with the same purpose; to create a job for our own child(ren) on the Autism spectrum. But as mothers, we see first hand the significant need for better inclusion in employment overall.

Because of this, I am currently doing all I can to learn how to create positions and opportunities for young adults on the Spectrum in our current company as well as our sister company, Zoe and Eve which will be opening in 2022.

In a conversation with my son Liam yesterday, he said he was hesitant to tell his employer he has Autism because he doesn't want to be labeled. I confirmed that it does give him a label. As an employee on the Autism spectrum, you are labeled as:
➡ Dependable
➡ Reliable
➡ NEVER late
➡ A rule follower
➡ Detail oriented
➡ Honest
➡ and Hardworking.

Those on the Autism spectrum may need special accommodations, but they bring highly desired qualities that are often hard to find.

We are excited about what we have in the works. Big things are coming and none of it could happen without you! Thank you for your support and please...Be Kind to Everyone! 💙

Thank you Grayson United Methodist Church for letting us join the fun today.

Thank you to the ZoZo Bean team for donating their time. Today all money went to GUMC Student Ministry. We are proud to support those who pour into our community so passionately and lovingly.
