Taste in Time

Taste in Time Taste in Time was a project of El Nido Birth & Family, It opened March 2021 as a 1950's ice cream parlor and sandwich shop.

The vision was to provide jobs and services for families serviced by ENBFM and support the programs provided to local families. Taste in Time (TnT) is a project of El Nido Birth and Family Ministries (ENBFM) a (501c3). ENBFM works with women and their families educating them about birth, parenting and life skills. El Nido's building in downtown Granite Falls, MN, is where meetings are held for young mothers and their families. ENBFM's goal of opening an ice cream parlor for the community was realized on March 10, 2021. Proceeds from the business will further benefit community through partnering with local service organizations, attending and contributing to community functions, increasing employment opportunities and continuing to serve young families in our region. Taste in Time operates as a 1950’s ice cream and Sandwich shop. This business provides a fun place for the community of Granite Falls and serves as job training for families serviced by El Nido Family Ministries. TnT is a family focused and fun filled gathering place with great food.

Update 2025 Taste in Time is permanently closed as we have had a change of season in our lives. Thank you for supporting us and the families we served. The building is now for sale if you know of anyone that would like a newly renovated building with a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, office and meeting room. Good Afternoon- As summer is gone, school is back in session along with sports, I need to ensure that I am keeping balance with my own personal goals, but most importantly, my faith and my kids.
As my mentors have taught me, "mothers are the vital role in everyone's lives, serving as teachers, influencers, and supporters."
I will be closing during the week, starting today 4 September 2024. I will be open Squid Fest weekend 14 September 2024, for free will donation, snow cones. I am sorry for any inconvenience this causes. I appreciate your understanding, family comes first. I look forward to seeing you. Hello and Good Afternoon, Granite Falls. Due to the ages of the customers, we serve and tis the season of allergies, flu and Covid. I am sorry to inconvenience you, but I will be closing early today 21 August 2024 thru tomorrow and will be open again Friday 23 August 2024. Again, truly sorry for any inconveniences' and will see you Friday! Truly thank you for all your support and patience.

Good Afternoon- My name is Nicole I wanted to introduce myself to the community of Granite Falls, MN. I am a volunteer here at taste in time, I also volunteer with other organizations in the community, I am a mother of three wonderful children, and also a full time student at MN Minnesota West Community and Technical College. I will put my family first always. Fall Semester starts August 26th. The hours of operation are Tuesdays thru Fridays 1130 - 130. I will not be here next week August 13th to August 16th, as I am flying out to watch my brother graduate basic training from the same place I did. HOOAH! Congratulations SPC. Kevin Miller.
I will keep Taste in Time open until the first of October and close for the winter.
If you would like a special event hosted, please PM or stop in and see me. Thank You so much for being patient and understanding.

Lastly, I have talked to many of the community members and wanted to remind everyone that we also have three soups we offer

Chicken Tortilla
Broccoli Cheese
We also have sandwiches and combinations available.
