Thank you to everyone who supported this endeavor.

We unfortunately must close CLEAVER for good effective today, August 18th.

Simply and plainly put, there just weren't enough guests buying our food for us to make ends meet.

The meat is still available (uncooked) just down the sidewalk.

Go support your local butcher - they need the love as well.

Sorry for the inconvenience but we will be close Thursday - Sunday. We plan to reopen on Wednesday for the Meat Lover's ...

Horse Soldier Premium: $9
Horse Soldier Premium bourbon. The Green Berets who own this unique bourbon were the first US soldiers on the ground in Afghanistan after 9/11. With that spirit in mind they created a bourbon equally tough. Distilled in collaboration with and aged in Kentucky, this whiskey offers honey, vanilla, and black pepper flavors rounded out with a oaky finish. We’re offering it this week for 9$ a pour 🥃.

It’s Our first Weekly Whiskey feature! Half off our featured bourbon.
Jefferson Ocean Rye Voyage 26.
It uses a unique Double Aging method that takes place over the open ocean. It starts in #3 char barrels and then split toasted barrels, aging the whole time while the ships are circumnavigating the globe. This gives it distinct coffee and to***co notes married with a warm cinnamon finish.

Join us this weekend, and let our bar manager Corbin talk your ear off about this and some of his other rare favorites we got on that back shelf.

New Hours!
Starting August Cleaver is switching up our hours. It’s been an eventful summer for sure with our sister shop at the up and running and our new concept for New Albany and Shawnee Hills right around the Corner, we’re taking a more focused approach to our Grandview Spot. We look forward to giving our small team some days off while opening up for lunches and getting back to some fun events where we can flex our proverbial meat & mussel. So to kick off our new changes we’re throwing a low country boil Aug 3rd. $50 per person, reservation only.

Let’s talk about the importance of good chicken. One of the first ah-ha moments for our owner was the difference pasture raised, sustainable, non gmo could make. Making chicken noodle soup for his father with a cold, Tony constantly tells us “I’m No Chef” but the bird speaks for itself when it’s raised right.
So here it is our pasture raised whole Chicken lovingly grilled over charcoal and served with our vinegar slaw, potato salad, and house pickles.
