Perhaps the longest post on a bowl of fries in social media history begins now:
The Brennan's French fries — legendary for most, controversial to some.
We don't hide it. Right on our menu it reads:
"Yes! Our French fries are greasy! They are made from fresh Idaho potatoes and deep fried when they are ordered. Since 1973, 99% of our customers love them. If you do not care for them or your diet does not allow them, we do have other selections you may order in their place. Thanks!"
Here's the thing... These fries part of our history. They're a tradition — unchanged for 53 YEARS. In an ever- and fast-changing world where nothing lasts anymore and we all end up craving those little nostalgic tastes from our past, isn't that sort of refreshing?
We believe so, so we're not changing them. We get it. Some of you won't like them. That's OK! They shouldn't warrant poor reviews. Understand the history. Understand they are a tribute to the Brennans. Understand they're not for everyone and may not be for you. We'll offer you something else! Just come in, sit down, enjoy, be kind, and we'll always treat you like family. !
