Our newest Chia Oat Bowl is making it’s debut! 🍓💚 Strawberry Shortcake is loaded with gut-healthy fiber and protein, but tastes like your favorite summer treat. It might be fall, but the taste of summer is now available year-round at the kitchen and at all Harvest Health Foods locations later this month.

We sat down with Casey Droscha of Droscha Sugarbush Farms (our maple syrup supplier right here in Michigan) to get the full story. Our scratch-made crust is simply butter, flour, water and salt. Our filling? Chicken, organic carrots, celery, onion, thyme, chicken stock, butter and a touch of cream. And, of course, our secret ingredient. 💚

Summertime in Michigan means some of the best produce of the year is growing right here in our own backyard. 🌱🥒🥬

Right now, we’re making the most of it with **Michigan-grown cabbage, cucumbers, kale and fresh herbs** showing up across our menu.

For us, cooking from scratch also means paying attention to what’s in season and sourcing locally whenever we can. The shorter the distance from farm to kitchen, the fresher the ingredients, and this time of year, Michigan makes that pretty easy.

We love this part of summer. 💚
