To produce fruits, plants need to be self-pollinating or there must be pollinators. We know there are male and female plants but self-pollinating plants, though they exist, it's hard to see, or to understand, how they do it-
CHAYOTE SQUASH IS UNIQUE because this plant clearly shows both male and female flowers in one plant. It first produces male flowers (jn bunches) followed by female flowers (singles pieces). Tiny fruits wither if not properly fertilized.
