𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆: 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗿!

We've added many new German wines for our Deutschland explorations (and a few more joining soon), so we thought we'd take some time to introduce a few of these FANTASTIC German wines.

First Up: Wirsching Silvaner

Want to try it for yourself? Why not grab a happy hour reservation to enjoy 1/2 off a 5 oz glass of wine! Every weekday from 3 pm to 5 pm.

By the way, we are experimenting with a new 3 oz pour option for these wines. 3 oz pours are perfect if you want to try a few different wines (we've got plenty for you to experiment with) or just want one more small glass!

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝘄!

When we say you guys have crushed these first few weeks of Germany, we mean it! So much love to everyone who has showed up, enjoyed wonderful German food, and raised a glass with us to a new menu! It has been a BLAST!

That being said, we are going to take a short hiatus to give our staff and ourselves a short little break. We will be closed Sunday, September 20th. We will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, September 22nd. We love and appreciate all of our guests, and can't wait to serve you again on Tuesday!

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹!!!

Darin Jensen, head brewer for our big sister Rapids Brewing Co. dropped us off a keg of their ZenMar (Oktoberfest)! This Märzen style beer is a great pint to enjoy with your German Meal, and we are so very fortunate to get this keg as a sneak peek before it is officially released this Saturday (September 19th) at their annual Oktoberfest celebration. We only have a small keg, so don't wait to try!

Speaking of Rapids Brewing Oktoberfest, if you are planning on attending, don't hesitate to wander over to Ledger & Ladle! We will extend 1/2 off glasses of German wines to anyone rocking lederhosen or a dirndl! While your in, why not try one of our beautiful house made rye pretzels? An excellent addition to any Oktoberfest celebration! As always, our space is limited, so feel free to grab a reservation to make sure you have a spot! A wine tasting night led by Marcus Hanson of Small Lot Wine & Spirits ! Ask anyone who joined us for the Spanish wine tasting, this is a not-to-be-missed event. A wonderful opportunity to learn, taste, and, generally have a blast!

Tomorrow (Thursday, September 10th) marks Ledger & Ladle's 1st full year slinging great eats, fantastic wines, and cozy vibes. We are so grateful for our wonderful staff and all of you amazing guests who walk through our doors. Sincerely, we have loved serving you guys!

While we have some plans in the works for a celebration event later in the fall, we wanted to do at least a little something tomorrow to mark the occasion. So, here is the deal: We will extend an all-day happy hour (1/2 of glasses of wine and $9 cocktails) to anyone with a reservation tomorrow (September 10th)!
