*RECIPE BELOW* The internet told my chef husband to make Rice Krispie treats with Lemon Frosted Cheerios. They may have just found the treat of the summer.
Bless them, because the comment section was absolutely right. 🤘🏻

Recipe for Lemon Cheerio Bars
5 cups Lemon Frosted Cheerios
10 oz marshmallows (plus extra for pockets of joy)
1/2 cup butter, browned or melted
Melt the butter and marshmallows together. Pour over the Cheerios and mix until fully coated.
For extra pizzazz, stir in a handful of additional mini or full-size marshmallows.
Press into an 8x8 pan, let cool, slice, and enjoy.

Part 2 of the Father’s Day surprise that almost didn’t happen 😂

After battling a 24-foot projector screen, chasing stakes around the yard, and eventually needing Jason’s help, we finally got backyard movie night up and running.

I think this one is going to get a lot of use this summer.

Now we need your help: What movie should we watch next, and what food should my chef husband make to go with it? We’re looking for the ultimate backyard movie night combinations!

My chef husband tried Taco Bell breakfast for the first time, and our favorite thing ended up being what a team member makes for breakfast!

I love this series because we’re always finding foods and combinations we never would have ordered on our own, usually from the people who know the menu best🫡

What’s your Taco Bell breakfast order? I might go back and make a breakfast crunchwrap with beans in it!

General Mills sent my chef husband a summer survival kit, and they clearly understood the assignment.

My chef husband opens brand packages like he just won the lottery.

One of the things I love most about Jason is that after all these years as a chef, he still gets excited about food the way kids get excited about Christmas morning. Fancy restaurants, roadside diners, campfire food, new snacks… it doesn’t matter. He loves all of it. 🥹

That’s probably why these packages are so much fun to watch him open.

My chef husband keeps finding campfire food upgrades, and this one would make Elvis proud.

Peanut butter, marshmallow fluff, banana, and a pie iron over the campfire. BLISS I tell you!!
We’re always looking for new campfire ideas, so tell us your favorite campfire dessert or sandwich. What are we missing and need to try this summer?

My chef husband bought every new Costco treat he could find for a taste test date night.
A few hours later we were in the basement because of a tornado warning, feeding the kids sugar and watching Heavyweights instead.
Not exactly the date night we planned, but it wasn’t bad. I’m just grateful we were safe and didn’t have any damage! (Also, super thankful for this tiki inspired basement we built during covid 😂)
Which costco treat did we miss? He’ll gladly go back.

My chef husband went in to Costco for ice… they got him again 😂 I guess we’re having a Costco taste test date night.
