Saturday night we’re hosting local rocker Two-Faced Wilson.

Both shows are free entry this weekend!

Thursday is board game night at 6:30.

Next week The Stray is hosting Rebecca Senior’s portrait drawing class!

Are you interested in drawing people, but portraits feel daunting? Are you looking to gain skills that you can build on with different models and perspectives? Join us for a beginner portrait class! We will cover facial proportions, how to bring out the uniqueness of each model, and how to troubleshoot when something isn’t working effectively. Expect a supportive, fun, and encouraging small group setting (max 12) where you can explore new techniques while embracing your personal drawing style. This class will meet at The Stray on Wednesday, August 26 from 6 - 9 pm. Fee: $45

Friday we have a free entry benefit show with Moon Slug, Breana Malloy, and supo! Proceeds go to Grand Rapids Trans foundation and GR Rapid Response to ICE. 7pm

Saturday night we’re hosting a mixed genre night with electronic acts Folklohr and Kyle Kuhn with songwriter Jules Camp! Free at 7pm

We have live art from Karen VanKlompenberg on Monday afternoon and Sophia VanHarn on Tuesday morning.
