Last winter the amazing Kara Super-Peterson () came up to the lodge during a very blizzardy February weekend. We foraged (even in the snow!), we played around in the kitchen, and she shared some delicious recipes that are absolutely perfect for this early autumn weather.

The first is a brie & cauliflower soup that is a total guest favorite every time we make it. The second is a totally melt-in your mouth cedar porchetta. Up until now we’ve been serving it on fresh focaccia for our guest happy hour, but this weekend it’ll get a special upgrade with a fennel & potato puree and an apple c***r pan sauce 👌
