My name is Sonephet Manivong, sole proprietor of Sticky Rice. I am a graduate of Grand Island Senior High School (Class of 1996) with an Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I've learned my cooking skills from my uncle, who owns the Sticky Rice restaurant in Ithaca, New York. Starting a restaurant business is prohibitively expensive but after

visiting New York City, I was inspired by the food truck culture there and with that thought, I eventually moved back to Grand Island in 2011 to be closer to my family and to start my food truck business. The food truck was always a stepping stone to eventually opening a brick and mortar restaurant, so in March of 2022, I finally opened my restaurant at 305 W. I hope you will come and experience the culinary offerings at Sticky Rice. Business hours are Monday - Saturday 11am - 2pm, 5pm - 9pm. PICK-UPS & PRE-ORDERING MENU
