Dear value customers, it has come to our attention about issues regarding our spice level and curry ingredients. In general, spice levels for all our entrees are by default marked “mild” and most entrees don’t have any spiciness to them unless you request it. For certain entrees, they may contain some spiciness due to the nature of the item and how they are prepared. For example, red and green curries are made of Thai red and green chilies and they come already “spicy”. We consider these items mild because they are to our palate, but if you are not too familiar with Thai spices, our mild may be medium or hot to your personal palate. As for the aforementioned curry items, including our Tom Kah and Tom Yum soup, they contain a dried “wood like” bark piece of ingredient called galangal, which is a root plant like ginger, we add for its pungent, aromatic flavor.
Going forward, any items that already contain any spiciness will be default “medium” spice level and remove all galangal root from our items to avoid any personal injury to your mouth.
