Too many incredible memories to share in one final post but we wanted to share a few. ❤️

“As I reflect on Ground Round's last day of business today in Grand Forks, I can't help but think back to all of the wonderful people I have met over the years and feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for everyone who chose to support my family and this business.
To many, I'm known as Ground Round Matt, or just the Ground Round guy. I will miss hearing that.

This business has taught me many lessons, but the most important one is taking care of your employees, and they will take care of your guests. Every team member who has punched the clock, greeted the guests, delivered the popcorn, flipped the burgers, washed the plates, and maybe partied a little too hard after the shift, is the reason why Ground Round has stood the test of time. Because of them, guests continued to patronize this restaurant.

The Ground Round family is large because it consists of both employees and guests. So many of you have been regulars for 20, 30, and even 40 years.
Thank you to every contractor, thank you to every supplier, thank you to our loyal clientele who chose to spend your time and hard earned money with us — and most importantly, thank you to every team member who made this place what it was.

Thank you to all the families who chose to celebrate with us today. We hope every father had a wonderful Father’s Day surrounded by great food and love.❤️

As we head into our final week in business, we want to thank this incredible community for the support you’ve shown us over the years. We would love the opportunity to serve you one last time before we close our doors.

A reminder that Friday, June 26, will be our final day open. We hope to see many familiar faces this week.

The laughter, the friendly competition, and seeing so many familiar faces made it a night we'll never forget.
