✨September is promising to be a Tasty fun month. Just look at this week’s happenings and food truck line up. ✨

🐥Mondays are always better with Steve, Smoke & $5 full pours. Oh! And don’t forget them wings @ 6pm. 🤤

🍕🤔Wednesday chulavistapizza & trivia team up. This week we kick off an 8 week tournament. This means more chances to win and bigger prizes. You don’t want to miss this!

🌮🥏 Thursday we’re excited to have a new food truck join us. Just For You catering and events offers a wide variety of options sure to make everyone in your group happy. Plus, Deep Creek Dreams kick off the disc golf tee time at 6pm.

👨‍🍳🍺 50Kitchen brings their gourmet southern home cooking w/ a twist to the beer garden. A perfect pairing for a new sour release and the return of Humor & Camaraderie (Reg & Lime)!

🍔Saturday, Kenny’s Smash Burger takes over. If you haven’t tried his larger than life burgers w/ that special Kenny’s sauce than it’s time to fix that and come hang with us.

💪🏼🥂 Sunday get strong w/ the BrewFit crew and then sip $6 ‘Mosas and chill for Sunday Funday.

A word from our brew leader, Ben:

It is with a heavy heart that we share that Mac, the OG brew dog of Forgotten Road Ales, has crossed the rainbow bridge. 🐾💔🌈

Mac was a taproom staple for years, a true friend, and an absolute legend. He remained a part of our FRAmily long after his retirement through events like Grahamtoberfest, Dino Day, and his namesake beer, Mac Attack. 🦖🍺🎾

Mac joined the staff in 2019 and quickly settled in behind the bar. He was a one-of-a-kind boy who mastered the art of sleeping on the job, only to leap up the second someone wanted to give him love. He took his brewery duties very seriously—patrolling the beer garden, sniffing out four-legged visitors, and “collecting” any empty can he could find (and good luck getting it back!). He also adored our disc golf crew, even after he was technically banned from playing because once Mac claimed a disc, it was his forever. 🥏✨🐾

When the world went dark in 2020, Mac was a light. He brought joy on those difficult days when I personally struggled with the mental toll. He always knew when I was down and would step in with extra love, demanding scratches just to make sure I was okay. Later, when we, the co-founders went through the painful process of parting ways, Mac was a steady, neutral rock for both of them. He never took sides; he just offered his unconditional love. 🐾💛

Mac the French Brew Dog was truly FRAmily. He was loved, he was one of a kind, and he will be missed. He is forever a part of FRA journey.✨

To honor his life and his legendary passion for a great IPA, we are brewing one final, special run of his signature Triple IPA: Mac Attack. We know he’d love the tribute (and let’s be honest, he would absolutely love the attention). 🍺🐾🎾

We hope you will raise a glass in his memory and give your own doggos some extra love and pets tonight. 🍻🫶
