Let’s talk ribs for a minute:
Everyone has their preference and maybe their own idea about what the perfect rib should look and taste like

We’ve cooked thousands of racks of ribs and we feel we’ve developed a process that helps us cook in our opinion is the perfect rib.

First of all, we season to give the end result a balanced taste where the pork is still the star of the show. We want a rib that has the perfect balance between salty and sweet and the flavor of the pork shines through.

We smoke our meats until we’ve achieved the color and texture we are looking for. We want the rub to be set so it doesn’t “wash off” in the wrap.

Once the rib has reached this stage in the cook, we wrap the ribs and finish cooking until we reach the perfect tenderness. We don’t want it to fall off the bone but definitely don’t want you to have to work to get it off the bone either.

But you don’t have to remember all of this to get the perfect rib, all you have to do is come to Stone Ridge BBQ and order them.
