Norman Rockwell landed his famous “First Day of School” as the cover illustration for The Saturday Evening Post on September 14, 1935.

During this time several major events occurred, most notably the signing of the Social Security Act in the U.S., the enactment of the Nuremberg Laws in Germany, and the invasion of Ethiopia by Italy.

As we are getting back to school this week, reminder that although we don’t open for walkins until 8am, preorders can be picked up earlier for Teachers who need to pickup starting at 6am.
