Employee Highlight: Justin Mumford
Justin has been part of the Chef’s Market family since he was just 17 years old, and over the years, he has become one of those team members who is always willing to step in wherever he is needed.
He started with us as a culinarian and has worked in just about every corner of the operation, including curbside, hotline, backfill, cashiering, and dishwashing. These days, Justin serves as our AM/Morning Porter, helping make sure the restaurant is clean, organized, and ready to welcome our guests before the doors ever open. And when we need an extra hand in the dish room, he is still one of our aces!
What makes Justin’s story even more impressive is that he balances his work here with school, where he is studying to become an accountant. When he gets a little time away from work and classes, Justin loves to travel — and he already has quite a few stamps in his passport.
We are proud to have watched Justin grow from a 17-year-old starting his first roles with us into the dependable, hardworking young man he is today. Justin, thank you for all the different hats you’ve worn over the years and for always being willing to help keep Chef’s Market running smoothly. We appreciate you! ❤️
