Next up in our Team Spotlight Series is Ivy Hood!

Ivy has been part of the Carl & ’Chelle’s family since December 2020, and she’s grown through just about every corner of the restaurant along the way!

She started as a Host, then moved through Cook → Butcher Cart → Expo → Manager, and today you’ll find her serving, bartending, and working with our Catering Team.

Ivy is a hard worker, a quick learner, recently engaged 💍, and perhaps the best description of all…

A ball of energy—and NEVER a dull moment! 😂❤️

Next up in our Team Spotlight Series is Payton Bridgers Mills!

Payton joined the Carl & ’Chelle’s family in February 2024, and to say she wears a lot of hats around here would be an understatement! 😂

She’s worked as a Server Assistant, Hostess, Server, Catering Team member, and Cookline Expo—basically, she can pretty much do it all! ❤️

Outside of Carl & ’Chelle’s, Payton is a Dental Assistant and a newlywed! 💍

We love having team members who are willing to jump in wherever they’re needed, and Payton is definitely one of them. Thank you, Payton, for your hard work and for being part of our story!

You met our resident “Morgan Wallen” 😂🤠 yesterday… so naturally, today we have to introduce you to Ashlyn Manzuli! ❤️

Ashlyn has been part of the Carl & ’Chelle’s family since March 2022 and is a familiar face on our Catering Team.

When she’s not helping us serve up delicious memories, she’s busy working toward her future as a nursing student. And this one really is family—Ashlyn is our cousin! ❤️

And yes… she’s the Ashlyn from Avery’s spotlight. Apparently she’s pretty fond of our very own “Morgan Wallen.” 😂

Ashlyn, thank you for being part of our family, our team, and so many memories over the past four years. We’re thankful to have you as part of our story!

Something exciting is happening at Carl & ‘Chelle’s Grill Room!

After 15 years of serving up delicious memories, we decided it was time to give our dining room a little love. ❤️🥩

We’ve been busy behind the scenes choosing new finishes, colors, lighting, décor, and all the little details that will give the Grill Room a fresh new look—while still keeping the warm, welcoming feel you know and love.

🔨 The remodel is officially getting underway!

📅 We will be CLOSED October 3–6 while we get to work bringing our new look to life.

🥩✨ We’ll REOPEN October 7, ready to welcome you back! Come see the changes, grab your favorite steak, and enjoy the fresh new look.

We don’t want to give it all away just yet… but here’s a little sneak peek of what’s coming. 👀

Next up in our Team Spotlight Series is Avery Grant!

Avery has been part of the Carl & ’Chelle’s family since June 2022, and he’s another one of those team members who can jump in just about anywhere. He started out in the dish pit, and now you’ll find him working the Butcher Cart, behind the grill, or helping with catering.🔥🥩

Outside of work, Avery is an ECU Pirate, loves hunting, and there’s a certain someone named Ashlyn ❤️ who’s pretty fond of him.

And if you’ve ever thought he looked a little familiar… apparently he’s occasionally mistaken for Morgan Wallen. 😂🤠 We’ll let y’all decide!

💍 Congratulations to Jordan & Wilfred! 💍

What a beautiful day celebrating these two! 🤍 From cocktail hour to dinner and a little fireworks to end the night, we loved being a part of their wedding celebration.

Guests enjoyed a plated dinner featuring their choice of Filet Mignon Medallions or Smothered Chicken, served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans & Caesar Salad. Before dinner, we kicked things off with plenty of delicious bites, including shrimp cocktail, sliders and fresh fruit. 🍤🥂

And we have to give a shoutout to our crew — they clean up pretty well for the photo booth! 😂🖤

Congratulations, Jordan & Wilfred! Thank you for choosing Carl & ‘Chelle’s to be part of such a special day. Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter and delicious memories!

Bridesmaids Luncheon ✅💙

One more beautiful celebration for our bride-to-be! Yesterday we gathered with Taylor and her bridesmaids for the sweetest luncheon as we get ready for the BIG day. 🥂💍

The table was set, the food was delicious, and most importantly, we got to spend a little time celebrating Taylor and the special ladies standing beside her.

We’re officially counting down the final days! 💙
October 3rd will be here before we know it, and we are SO excited to watch Taylor & Austin say “I do!” 🤍

Next up in our Team Spotlight Series is Brandy Wilkins!

Brandy has been part of the Carl & ’Chelle’s family since December 2020, and she’s one of those people we know we can count on. Whether she’s serving, bartending, catering, or simply jumping in wherever we need her, Brandy is always willing to help get the job done. ❤️

By day, she’s a Dental Assisting Instructor at Wayne Community College—which has earned her the affectionate title around here of “The Teeth Lady” 😂🦷.

She’s also a very proud boy mom to two sons currently serving in the military. 🇺🇸❤️

Brandy, thank you for your hard work, your willingness to always lend a hand, and for being part of our story for nearly six years!
