Meet Our Director of Sales at Footprints at Fossil Trace — Elizabeth Fahnestock! ✨
There’s a lot that goes into creating a great event, and Liz is one of the people making sure it all comes together.
Her story with us goes back quite a bit. Liz joined Biscuits & Berries Catering in 2008, and after more than a decade with B&B, she joined the Footprints team in 2019. Today, she oversees venue, catering, and event operations at Fossil Trace. She works closely with clients, coordinates logistics, manages restaurant operations, and makes sure every detail is handled from the initial planning stages through event day.
For Liz, the best part of the job is the people. She loves getting to know her clients, being part of some of life’s biggest moments, and watching months of planning come to life on event day. Even after all these years in hospitality, she still genuinely enjoys the fast pace, the teamwork, and the satisfaction of seeing all the little details fall into place to create something special.
Originally from the East Coast, Liz has called Colorado home for many years and loves taking advantage of everything this beautiful state has to offer. Outside of work, she enjoys getting outdoors, traveling when she can, spending time with family and friends, and catching concerts at Red Rocks. 🏔️🎶
Family is especially important to Liz. She comes from a big family of eight children, so there’s never been a shortage of people to celebrate, laugh with, or make memories alongside. She believes that when it comes to the people you love, it’s all about making the time you have together count.
We’re so grateful to have Liz as part of the Footprints family. Her experience, energy, and genuine love for what she does are a big part of what makes the events here so special.
