We’re honored that Amrita Adhikari celebrated Isha’s Pasni with us—a cherished Nepali tradition marking a baby’s first solid food. We will deeply miss seeing Mom spin the prayer wheel and offer her morning rituals at Sherpa House—those moments brought so much peace and blessing to Sherpa House .

On this special and auspicious day in the Buddhist calendar, Mom and Uncle chose to return to Nepal. Before their departure, they hung new prayer flags, offered blessings, and began their journey home.

Having our mother with us at Sherpa House has been a true blessing. Now at 77, she feels called to be in Nepal—surrounded by her temples, friends, and family in Kathmandu. While it is hard to say goodbye, we respect her wishes and are grateful for the time we shared.

Thank you to everyone who cared for and supported her while she was here. Your kindness means so much to us.

Please come visit Sherpa House to see the newly hung prayer flags and receive their blessings. We will carry her presence with us always. ❤️🙏
