We invite the Golden community and friends from across Colorado to join us for the Sacred Sand Mandala Festival, November 14–21, at the United Sherpa Association of Colorado in Golden.

Over seven days, three Tibetan monks will carefully create a traditional sand mandala by hand, using millions of grains of colored sand to form an intricate work of art. Visitors are welcome to stop by daily from 10 AM–6 PM to observe the mandala taking shape and experience this extraordinary tradition of art, culture, heritage, patience, and impermanence.

The week concludes on Saturday, November 21, with a special blessing and Mandala Dissolution Ceremony.

This is a FREE EVENT, and everyone is welcome.
While you are here, we also invite you to learn about the United Sherpa Association of Colorado’s Community Center Project, our vision to create a permanent home where Sherpa culture, heritage, and traditions can be preserved and shared with future generations.

With heartfelt gratitude, we’re sharing the final update from our Nepal Flood Relief campaign. Together, through the kindness and generosity of so many wonderful people, we raised $30,406 for Nepal's Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund. Today, September 14, 2026, we wired the full $30,406 raised through this campaign to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund. The United Sherpa Association of Colorado separately covered the $40 international transfer fee, ensuring none of the donated funds went toward that cost.

For transparency, we’re sharing the campaign record, donor list, and transfer receipt. To everyone who donated, shared our campaign, encouraged others, or helped in any way, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness, compassion, and generosity made this possible. This campaign is now officially closed, but our care and connection with those affected continue. We will share updates as we receive information about the ongoing recovery efforts in Nepal. Our hearts are with the families and communities affected by the devastating floods in Nepal. United Sherpa Association of Colorado has launched a time-sensitive Nepal Flood Disaster Relief Fund, and we invite our community, friends, and supporters to stand together with Nepal during this difficult time. 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️

100% of the funds raised through this campaign will be transferred to Nepal’s Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. The campaign will close on September 13, and USAC will publicly share the final amount raised and official proof of transfer.
