Update:
Hi, Everyone ! I wanted to update our post and make sure to thank you for all the love and support for 5 years of White Birch.
When I opened 7 days before a global pandemic, I knew the business would change as the world had. Restaurants went through huge challenges for the next 2 years. When I finally found our new groove (not sitting every -other seat or with plastic between us), I took on the additional function space and some great catering clients and contracts, definitely not thinking we’d be where we are now.
Unfortunately, in early 2023 I lost my home to a flood. Faced with many new expenses, I had to look into the sale of the business. I put people in place to help me and hoped for the best. Sadly, the business required more attention than I’m able to give it as I had to find additional income elsewhere. I started working on a sale that then fell through. And, now, here we sit…
I truly appreciate how understanding the staff has been about the closing. You can find many of them locally at other restaurants and country clubs. And, I am so happy to report that some people do have potential interest in buying the restaurant.
I really just wanted to especially say thank you to our customers for their support over the years. Your patronage and the friendships that have formed with so many of you is so appreciated.
I have put a lot of work and dedication in over the years and, while it is disappointing to close, it’s what is best for my family.
I will post any updates about the restaurant or future plans for our space.
I’m not crying; you’re crying
