Dear ice cream lovers and faithful customers,

It is with a heavy heart that I post this message. As of this past Wednesday, we have new owners - who gave us - your loyal and faithful Super Scoop staff - the impression that we would be continuing business as usual. But we were informed today that the store would be closing - or they might possibly relocate it down the line - or change the active business in the location formerly known as Super Scoop.

The store is effectively closed as of today.

I want to extend my personal thanks and warm wishes to each of you, as you have all been a part of my life for the past three years that I have been the manager of Super Scoop. I have acquired some great friends and some wonderful memories... and I will never forget them.

I wish you nothing but the best.

Our first day back was not without drama. In this case... the drama was electrical.

Apparently, during our week away, some unwanted moisture froze on some unsuspecting outdoor lines that belong to our store - and reacted negatively to our machines coming back online today.

No worries - Public Service is working on the issue and we will be fully functioning tomorrow. In the mean time, we did have to close early today - so as not to create a larger problem electrically.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Come out from the polar vortex cabin fever in style!!!!

After all of this freezing cold weather.... we are about to come into a week of practically balmy weather!!!

And yes, our ice cream and shake lovers - our doors will be open.

We apologize for the delay that caused us to remain closed for several days by unforeseen and uncontrollable aspects. But as of noon tomorrow - That's Thursday, January 9th - we WILL be serving your favorite treats for the first time in 2014!!!!

Our end of Year inventory process was delayed due to the weather. But we have NOT abandoned you!!! We will reopen our doors on Thursday, January 9th.

As part of our end of year inventory process, we will be closed for a few days after the new year to ensure a full and accurate inventory count. We will still be taking orders for cakes and booking parties.

To order a cake, please email your order information to [email protected]

Please include contact information, date your cake is needed, how many people you are serving, flavors of ice cream (anything other than vanilla & chocolate is a custom cake), and decoration preferences.
