SANTA IS COMING TO THE PLAYPEN AND HE WANTS TO MEET YOU!

SANTA WILL BE VISITING THE PLAYPEN

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9TH 2026
FROM 10:30 - 11:30 AM
ABOUT THE EVENT:

Families can book a time slot to come to the Santa event. During the event families will be able to:

Visit and take pictures with Santa at their own pace
Make reindeer food to take home
Play in the playroom
Enjoy a hot chocolate bar with fun ingredients
Make a Christmas Ornament

A limited amount of tickets will be sold per session to limit our occupancy in the building. Families can stay at Playpen for 1 hour after their time slot begins, but will also receive a Play Pass to return for a full day of play any day the same week From December 10th until December 17th.

RESERVATIONS

Tickets are $20/child and include up to 2 adults per paid ticket. $10 will be paid now to hold the reservation and the remaining $10 will be paid at the door on the day of the event.

Additional adults are $10. Additional Adults will pay at the door.

Mini Member Price:$5/child with member discount code.

We had so much fun with our Buzz Lightyear visit last week! Thank you to all of the families who came out to see Buzz and support Playpen, so many familiar faces and even more new friends!

We had some great feedback from attendees and we can't wait to host more special events in the coming months.

Join us for our September Music Class Session with Miss Erin! The September Session will run every Tuesday from 9:00 am - 9:40 am with open play to follow. September dates are September 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.

Our September music class theme is On The Farm and will feature our Playpen mascot Penny the Pig.

Classes will engage little ones ages walker to preschool with games, bubbles, songs, instruments, dance, our giant parachute, our oversized piano and more!

We can’t wait to see you down on the farm this September!

Cost for the session is $125 for the first child and $100 for any additional children.

Don’t forget that music class participants can stay and play for the remainder of the day at no additional cost AND receive early access to the playroom as we open to the public at 10:00 am.

Stop by The Playpen Glen Ellyn August 14th through August 20th to snap a picture with our adorable back to school photo op. Skip the first day of school chaos and take your back to school pictures in advance. We even have two desks so you can get sibling photos. Kiddos can also fill out the "my first day" board to hold in photos. Make sure to check out the Playpen website to see all of the other upcoming events and activities!

Make a splash with water safety! Join Goldfish - Glen Ellyn at The Playpen for fun, engaging tips to help keep kids safer in the water.

Join Goldfish Swim School- Glen Ellyn and our mascot, Bubbles, at The Playpen for a fun, interactive Water Safety Presentation designed especially for young children.

Through demonstrations and hands-on participation, children will learn important water safety skills in an engaging, way. Our presentation aims to help kids build confidence and develop smart safety habits they can remember whenever they're in and around water.
As a special thank-you for attending, every family will receive a FREE Family Swim pass to Goldfish Swim School- Glen Ellyn to practice water confidence together and experience our warm, shiver-free pool environment.

We can't wait to see you at The Playpen for a morning of learning, laughter, and lifesaving water safety skills!

We have a jam packed week of play and tons of special events and activities this week!

On Wednesday August 12th our highly anticipated Buzz Lightyear character visit will take place from 9:30-11:00 am.

On Thursday we will be open late for family BINGO night! Join us for a fun filled game of bingo where you can win prizes from local businesses such as Goldfish - Glen Ellyn Carnagio Family Oberweis and of course... The Playpen Glen Ellyn!

Friday will start the installation of our back to school photo backdrop! Skip the crazy first day pictures and take your first day pictures with Playpen! The photo backdrop will be up from Friday August 14th until Thursday August 20th!

We end our week with a fun and interactive presentation by Goldfish - Glen Ellyn swim school, on Sunday August 16th at 11:00 am, Complete with an appearance from their mascot Bubbles the goldfish! Everyone who attends will receive a pass for a free open swim at Goldfish (perfect for when the weather starts to get chilly)
