We specialize in subs using our homemade sub rolls. We also offer a variety of homemade bakery item We are a subshop/bakery located in Gladys, VA.

We bake our own sub rolls, hotdog buns, and hamburger buns daily, as well as a variety of loaf breads, quick breads, pies, cheesecakes, and cookies. We are also well known for our homemade chicken salad, potato salad, macaroni salad, and cole slaw. in addition to subs and bakery items, we also sell Rock Stable Meats beef and pork products, Homestead Creamery milk and ice cream, and a variety of candy, chocolate covered items, and canned goods from several different suppliers.

With strawberry season behind us, we have now begun making some peach items...peach bread, peach pie, and slices of peach cheesecake and peach torte...and we have our normal regular items as well.

Our regular business hours are 10 - 6 Tuesday through Friday, and 10 - 2 on Saturday. We will be closed on Saturday, June 27.

The chicken and beef pot pies are a new item at Rosie's. We think they are both really good, and have some in our freezer at home.

A good Tuesday morning to you!

The special at Rosie's today is the Reuben sub. Corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and either Thousand Island dressing or Southwest sauce on your choice of our homemade white, wheat, or Italian parmesan sub roll. It's not the traditional Reuben; it's the Rosie's Reuben!

Rosie's will be closed the last Saturday in June, June 27. Voice Of Praise, the male quartet that Jon sings in, is giving three concerts that weekend.

A wonderful Saturday morning to you!

Our Saturday hours are 10 - 2. Drop in for a sub or two, and pick up some other items as well.

We regularly hear from customers about the Walnut Creek bacon being so good. We agree! In fact, I don't think we've disliked any of the Walnut Creek items that we've tried...they've all been excellent. We carry their potato chips, bacon, butter, roll butter, cheese spreads, smoked sausages, yogurt, cottage cheese, and a variety of meats and cheeses, along with various canned goods.

We are open today from 10 - 6, and open on Saturday from 10 - 2. There is a good possibility that we will be closed on Saturday, June 27. We will also be closed the first part of July, but we have not yet settled on exactly what our schedule will be.

A good Wednesday morning to you!

After being closed yesterday, we are back to our regular schedule...10 - 6 Tuesday through Friday, and 10 - 2 on Saturday...at least until the end of the month. It looks like there is a good chance we will be closed the last Saturday of June. The singing group I am involved in his several concerts that weekend.

Drop by for a sub and pick up some other items as well!

A wonderful Friday morning to you!

The chocolate covered peanuts are our best selling chocolatey item. We were out of the chocolate covered pretzels for a while, but we now have those back in stock. Marsha's Buckeyes are a popular item as well.

Every time we use one of the Heath Riles rubs at home, we are impressed! Our favorite is the Garlic Jalapeno.

Remember, we are closed next Tuesday.

Strawberry season is basically over, but we still have strawberry cheesecake, strawberry torte, and strawberry shortcake slices available... probably through the end of this week.
