If you are eating factory bread you are most likely destroying your body. Stripped down flour, added fake nutrients, short or non existent fermentation times, and added chemicals are horrible for your gut.

Find a local baker who cares about their craft and the bread they bake and spend your hard earned dollars on real food and your health will most likely be better.

Buy and eat real food. If your bread ingredients have words you cannot pronounce that is not real food.

Gluten free doesn’t have to mean tasteless, lousy texture and boring. We made some blueberry pastry, a focaccia with olive oil, garlic, oregano and some flake salt and a bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, red onion, fresh oregano (from my garden)and salt.

I had a fun class today at Billie’s Grocery. Full class of folks who wanted to explore gluten free sourdough.
In the class was a mother and son and the son is an offensive tackle for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL.
Mason Richman, a graduate of Blue Valley High school and of Iowa. In his rookie season he became a Super Bowl Champion. He is a very polite and intelligent young man and he came home to celebrate his mom this Mother’s Day weekend.
