Eastside Cafe wants to wish all of our local students, teachers, staff, and families an amazing start to the new school year!

We know how much work goes into making each school year special, and we’re thankful for all of the incredible educators, staff members, parents, and students who make our communities such great places to call home. ❤️

We are closing at 11AM today!

(We will also be CLOSED TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, and THURSDAY)

Good afternoon everyone! Each year we close the first two days of fair week to show our support for the Angels Among Us Cafe! They are located at the Crawford County fairgrounds, and are a non profit organization, that was founded in 2000. They raise funds for cancer patients in Crawford County by ways of delicious fried chicken, desserts, breakfast and everything in between! Please show your support to the hard working volunteers that make the cafe what it is!

We will see you all on Friday!

Today, our community has the opportunity to make a real difference in the life of 4-year-old Penelope Harrison.

Penelope is battling a serious medical condition and needs specialized care at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Her family is facing overwhelming medical and travel expenses, and today we hope to help lighten that burden.

♥️ GIRARD, WE NEED YOUR HELP AGAIN 💛

Our community has always stepped up when a neighbor is in need, and today we’re asking you to do it once more.

Meet Penelope Harrison a sweet, smiling 4 year old who urgently needs specialized care at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Unfortunately, her insurance is not accepted there, meaning her family must pay $5,000 upfront just to begin care. That is only the beginning of the medical expenses they’ll face, along with travel, lodging, and time away from home while also caring for their three other children.

Getting Penelope to the Mayo Clinic is the best chance she has to finally receive answers and a diagnosis.

❤️ Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help ease the financial burden on her family.

We are open for normal business hours today, 6AM-2PM! Our kitchen AC Unit thawed out over the night and we are in good shape to get through until Tuesday when they can get here to service it! We look forward to seeing you all today! 😁

We absolutely HATE to do this but we will be closing at 12:00PM today. It’s the time of year where our AC is giving us issues and today it’s frozen up. The kitchen unit is frozen up and we are sitting at 102 and up front is 77. It needs a night to thaw out!
