Today we have to say see you later to our amazing manager, Kennedy Helmkamp , as she heads back to college! 🥹❤️

Kennedy has been such an important part of The Snack Shack family, and we’re going to miss having her around every day! She’s been an incredible manager, and I’m so thankful for all the hard work, dedication, and heart she has brought to our team.

Thankfully, this isn’t goodbye! She’ll be back with us during her breaks, so we’ll still get to steal her back every now and then. 🥰

Good luck this semester, Kennedy! Go do your thing, and know that your Snack Shack family will be here waiting for you when you’re back! ❤️🍕🍦

Most of you know that my husband, Kenny, passed away just a few days before The Snack Shack opened.
One of Kenny's favorite desserts was Carmello Pie. Every birthday, Father's Day, holiday, or celebration, this was the dessert he always requested.
A few weeks ago, Kenny's oldest daughter, who works alongside me at The Snack Shack, asked if we could make them. Today, the two of us made them together, and it felt like the perfect way to keep that tradition alive. ❤️
We're excited to introduce our mini KG Carmello Pie—made with our homemade dulce de leche, fresh bananas, whipped cream, and crushed walnuts.
In Kenny's memory, $3 from every KG Carmello Pie sold will be donated to The Next Network, helping support individuals and families impacted by addiction. We hope something that brought Kenny so much joy can now help bring hope to others.

❤️ A Little Thank You
We may be in Gillespie, but our kids spent their summer at Tri-Township Park Summer Camp in Troy, and they had the best time.
As a small thank-you, my friend and I put together 20 custom treat boxes from The Snack Shack for the amazing counselors. Thank you for your kindness, patience, and for making this summer so memorable for our kids.
We hope you enjoy the treats—you've truly earned them! ☀️🍪🧁
