GILBERTOWN -- Two candidates for state offices will visit Choctaw County next Thursday during the January 29th meeting of the Choctaw County Republican Party.
Secretary of State Wes Allen, who is seeking the office of Lt. Governor, will be on hand at the event, along with Attorney General candidate Katherine Robertson.
The meeting will be held at The Harbor, located at 2371 Carlisle Road in Gilbertown, beginning at 6 p.m.
A dutch-treat meal will be available and attendees are encouraged to come early to place their order prior to the beginning of the meeting.

We have, fried chicken, hamburger steak, okra, red beans and rice, greens, baby limas, yams, mac and cheese, cornbread or roll and for dessert we have peach cobbler, banana pudding, and cake.

And we have our salad bar!
