Part-Time / Full-Time | Closing Shift
Decadent Macaron is looking for a friendly, dependable outgoing barista to join our bakery and coffee shop! We’re seeking someone who enjoys serving customers, takes pride in their work, and works well with a team.
This position is for closing shifts. Weekend availability is required. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available. Must have previous barista experience and the ability to steam milk properly.
Responsibilities
* Prepare espresso, and specialty drinks using our recipes.
* Provide welcoming customer service, take orders, and operate the POS system.
* Assist customers with macarons and pastries, including packaging orders.
* Keep the café, equipment, and work areas clean and stocked.
* Complete closing duties, including cleaning equipment and preparing the café for the next day.
* Prepare housemate syrups
* Prepare toast
* Follow food safety procedures and participate in training.
* Support the team during busy shifts and special events.
Qualifications
* Must be available for closing shifts and weekends.
* Barista experience preferred.
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
* Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to stand for extended periods and complete cleaning duties.
* Seasonal-event and holiday availability preferred.
