🍦🎉 WE MADE THE TOP 3! 🎉🍦

We are SO excited to share that Couple of Scoops has been named a Top 3 finalist for Gig Harbor Living Local’s Finest 2026 in the New Business category!

And we’re in some pretty amazing company alongside gather Gig Harbor and The Midway! We love seeing new local businesses bringing something special to our community, and it means so much to have Couple of Scoops included among them.

But what makes this especially meaningful to us is what every vote represents. When you support Couple of Scoops, you’re supporting our mission of creating meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. Every scoop really does make a difference. 🍦

Now we need your help to bring it home!

🗳️ Voting is open through October 19, and you can vote DAILY! Find Couple of Scoops under the New Business category and cast your vote.

Thank you, Gig Harbor, for welcoming us, supporting our Super Scoopers, and believing in what we’re building. Making the Top 3 during our very first year is already something worth celebrating.

Now let’s go for #1!

Celebrating the finest in our community, as voted by you.

Silly, goofy, and always having a little too much fun at work. 😂

There’s never a dull moment when this crew is behind the counter! 🍦

Starting TODAY! ❤️🍦

We’re excited to introduce Sensory Friendly Hours at Couple of Scoops — every day from 12–1 PM! 🫶

During this hour, we’ll make a few simple changes to create a calmer, more comfortable scoop shop experience:

✨ Lights will be dimmed
🎵 Music will be turned off or kept very low
🔇 Waffle cone iron beeps and other avoidable noises will be minimized
🍦 Guests are welcome to take their time and scoop at their own speed

Creating meaningful employment for individuals with disabilities has always been at the heart of Couple of Scoops, and we want our shop to feel welcoming and accessible to the community we serve, too. ❤️

Because everyone deserves to enjoy a trip for ice cream. 🍦🩵

More than just coworkers, forever friends. ❤️🍦

Before Payton headed off to college, she made quite the impact at Couple of Scoops—building friendships and connections that go far beyond the scoop counter. 🥹

We sure miss having her around, but it goes to show just how special the environment and people are here at Couple of Scoops. It’s more than a job—it’s a community where friendships are growing, support is always present, and everyone has a place to belong. ❤️

And that’s what makes every scoop make a difference. 🍦✨

When the store is on fire, you grab the essentials. 😂🍦

Ice cream, blenders, cones, scoopers, and apparently that includes the boss. 🥹❤️
