π’ Big news from our owners:
After a lot of thought, weβve made the difficult decision to step away as owners of the taproom. The doors will stay open, the staff you know and love will still be behind the bar, the games will keep running, and Locust C***r will still be on tap.
The last few years have been hard on small businesses. After Covid and inflation, we had to make some tough decisions about the future of Locust C***r. Closing the taproom was never something we wanted. We live here, and this place has become a real gathering spot for our town. So we took our time finding the right person to carry it forward. The owner behind Joysticks in Auburn has officially taken over operations. Heβs keeping our amazing staff, building on whatβs already here, and expanding the gaming in the Harborcade at Locust C***r. In time, the taproom will become The Harbor Hideout.
And Locust C***r isnβt going anywhere. Weβll keep making the c***r you love and selling it wholesale, so youβll still find it on tap at the Harbor Hideout and at bars, restaurants, and stores around the region. We just wonβt be running any taprooms of our own.
This account will transition soon, so stay tuned here for updates. To keep up with Locust C***r, follow ***r.
If youβre a Swarm Club member or use the Locust app, we know youβll have questions. Weβre working through the details with our new owner and will share updates as soon as we have them. Thank you for your patience while we sort it out.
To our team, thank you for being so amazing through all of our transitions. This place is what it is because of you.
To everyone who has walked through our doors, thank you. Youβve been part of Locust C***r, and honestly part of our family. Weβre so grateful, and we canβt wait to see what comes next π
