Hello everyone. I won’t have recipes for awhile, we live in Florida now and were directly in the path of Hurricane Ian. If you’ve bought recipes and have trouble downloading please have patience with me since I have limited internet. Thank you! Things are looking up down here, lots of devastation!!

It's very exciting that so many new restaurants are opening! And we wish them the best of luck! Unfortunately, we have been closed for 1 year now, how time flies!! But we have a new recipe for you to enjoy and remember us by!

Alright... next on the recipe menu is our red cabbage!! I should be posting new recipes every 2 weeks or so, so check out our Etsy page!

A little more to the process because people have been asking why I don't do a recipe book. Most all of my recipes were for larger restaurant quantities, I am now converting them to smaller batches so everyone can enjoy them. A lot of work goes into that, having to condense them, then cook them to make sure that they taste the way they should . I have someone proof read the written recipe so they are easy to cook and understand. A cook book would have taken a long time to write and this way you can pick and choose which recipes you'd like. The prices will also vary on the recipes as well. Simpler recipes then costing less. I appreciate everyone's support!

Hello everyone!

We have closed our doors and it has been 10 months already since we served our last meal! We have been thinking about a memories cook book and will now be offering our beloved recipes through Etsy. We are starting with a Bayern Stube staple, our Hungarian gulasch. With deep flavors of Hungarian paprika, onions, and pork in a paprika- and tomato-based stew. Can be served as a soup with bread, or over spätzle. This was the most asked about recipe and now you can cook for yourself and family! We hope you enjoy it and check back for more recipes to come!!

We have the famous AUERHAHN (Capercaillie - that mysterious bird-hanging in the bar, that everyone always asked about) available on the auction now. Shot by my grandfather in the Taunus region of Germany about 70+ years ago. We have another example for auction mounted on a wooded oak plague. Lot #17 and Lot #33

Brad Strebeck, Auctioneer and his crew finished up today cataloging over 800 lots. It was hard to see all these things being cataloged, but I am happy that they will find a new home and someone sees them as a memento and remembrance to the Bayern Stube. A lot of the taxidermy was shot by my grandfather and is over 70+ years old and the stein and trinkets were collected over the 30 years that the Bayern Stube existed.

The auction will be divided into 2 auctions, one on Sunday, April 10th and the other on Wednesday, April 13th. The auctions will last 10 days and pick up will be at the Bayern Stube on Saturday April 23rd and Sunday April 24th. Brad Strebeck will post exact times on his page Monday with a direct link to the Bayern Stube auction on Strebeckauctions.hibid.com so you may preview the items online one week before the auction starts. I will share the post on Monday here. For those who would like to bid on items I would suggest signing up on Hibid.com, so you are ready to go when the auction starts. Shipping will also be available.

We will be having an online auction close to the end of March. More info to come. The auction will include Antiques and Taxidermy from the restaurant. It will be an ONLINE auction and listed on hibid.com. The
auction usually runs for 7-10 days. If you are wanting a little piece of the Bayern Stube to have as a memento, check back for more info on when it will start.
