🚨Fair Week Store Hours - September 28- October 3rd 🚨

Our farmers are busy helping make the county fair run smoothly. Between serving on the board of directors, running 4-H clubs, and showing livestock, this week is certainly not one of rest.

Our UPS orders will be going out on the usual schedule.

Ever wonder why beef can look so different?

Beef gets its red color primarily from a naturally occurring protein called myoglobin. The cut of beef, fat content, how finely it's ground, oxygen exposure, freezing and storage can all change the color you see.

The burger on the bottom is ours. We love that you can actually see the texture of the beef and the flecks of fat throughout it.

Color alone doesn't tell you whether a burger is good or bad, but it is a good reminder that not all ground beef is produced and handled the same way.
