The welcome we received at our Grand Opening was something special. As a New Yorker, it means a lot to be able to share a little slice of home through the sandwiches we make every day. Around here, food is a love language, and every hero that leaves our counter is made with that in mind.

Thank you for the support, the kind words, and for making us feel at home. Geneva already feels like family.

A huge thank you to The Brothers Sinatra for helping make our Grand Opening feel like old-school New York. Good sandwiches, good company, and good music — that's a pretty good combination if you ask us.

We’re hoping this wasn't the last time they take the stage at Nino’s. Stay tuned... we might just have to bring them back for another summer patio performance. 🤌

A New York-style deli – Nino’s Italian Deli – held a grand opening on Saturday in Geneva.

Tomorrow is our official Grand Opening!

Doors open at 10:30 AM after a ribbon cutting with Geneva’s Mayor Kevin Burns. The first 50 customers will receive a free black & white cookie, and at 11:30 AM, The Brothers Sinatra takes the patio stage for a live performance.

Fresh heroes. Sinatra tunes. Old-school deli vibes.

People always ask where the name Nino’s comes from.

I’m holding up the answer in this photo.

Lenox is my brother’s eldest son, and I’m Lenox’s godfather. In Spanish, the word for godfather is “padrino.” When Lenox was little, he couldn’t quite say “padrino”—all he could say was “Nino.” That’s been my name to my two nephews ever since.

Fun fact: Lenox was born just yards from the original home plate of the New York Highlanders stadium. You probably know them today as the New York Yankees. So, by birthright, that makes Lenox a Yankees fan. 😉
