I've got a few things that I need to tend to this afternoon. Effin Burrito will be closed today. I'll be back on Thursday. My apologies if I've spoiled anyone's plans.

FYI:
I have power at the shop and I am open for business.
However, there is no access on lake road from the west. The road is closed at The Old Firehouse Winery because of some utility poles that were blown over in last night's storm. Use Austin road to get here from the east.
I'll be here until at least 8 tonight.

Just so everyone is up to date, and more importantly, so I don't sit here and die of loneliness, Effin Burrito is now open 6 days a week for your dining pleasure.
Beginning immediately, and until further notice, the hours are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 3 - 9
WEDNESDAY: CLOSED
Friday: 3 - 11
Saturday: 1 - 11
Sunday: 1 - 8
As always, these hours are M.S.E.T. ( My Sweet Effin Time), and I reserve the right to open a little late or close a little early due to weather, crowd size, or just plain laziness. I will let you know if I for some reason cannot open on any regularly scheduled day.

UPDATE:

The power is back on. Opening time will be 3 pm.

Important news:
I walked into the shop this morning to find that the power is partially out due to an outage impacting only a few adjacent places. Whenever the power is restored, I will open ( provided it's not too late in the day).
I'll keep you posted with updates.

In about 2 hours ( that would be 4pm ish) the windows are going to open, and Effin Burrito will be open for another season. I'll probably stick around until 9ish tonight. It's been a long and very inactive winter, and I'm easing myself into this.
Tomorrow's hours will be 1 pm to 9 or 10, and Sunday will be 1 pm to 8.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again.
Let's get this rolling.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Jane and I are not in Jamaica yet. I've had a lot of people messaging me about it, and thought it would be best to let everyone know. Thanks for your positive thoughts and prayers, but let's all focus those on the people of Jamaica.

If you ordered frozen burritos, they are ready for pickup. I'm not opening the shop today. However, I'll either be here prepping for the weekend, or I will be nearby. If today is the only day that works for your schedule to pickup your order, send me a message on FB messenger, and I will meet you at the shop. Otherwise, I will be open regular hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and you can pickup your order then.

Good news, bad news today.
Good news is I think I'm through the worst of this funk.
Bad news is I haven't eaten or had any significant sleep in 3 days, and I've exhausted myself trying to do a weeks worth of prep in 1 morning. I gotta shut it down again today.
I'll give you an update tomorrow.
