The Loon Golf Resort has been a special place for generations of golfers, families, and visitors, and we're excited for what the future holds.

As many of you may have heard, our owners have made the personal decision to retire and downsize their assets by listing the resort for sale. This decision is simply part of their retirement plans and is not a reflection of our team or the success of the resort.

It is business as usual at The Loon! All current and future bookings are safe, and our dedicated staff remains committed to providing the outstanding golf, dining, lodging, and hospitality you've come to expect.

We are incredibly proud of what we have built together and are optimistic that a future owner will recognize the value of this incredible destination and continue investing in its future.

Thank you to our loyal guests, members, and community for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming you to The Loon and continuing to create great memories together.

🌤️ A Quick Update from The Loon Golf Resort
Due to today's wildfire smoke, we are temporarily limiting some of our outdoor services to reduce extended exposure for our team members. We appreciate your patience as we make these small adjustments.
The golf courses remain open, and we look forward to welcoming everyone out for a great day of golf. Current forecasts indicate that air quality should gradually improve over the next couple of days, and we're hopeful conditions will continue to get better.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We'll keep monitoring conditions and adjust our operations as needed to provide the best experience possible.
We look forward to seeing you on the course!

Introducing “The Marsh” at The Ridge ⛳🌊
Due to high water levels temporarily covering several bridges on our back nine, we’ve decided to turn the situation into something fun.
Holes 18 and 10–14 have officially become a 6-hole short course called “The Marsh.”
Golfers will start on 18 before making their way through a unique short-course layout that’s equal parts golf and Northern Michigan adventure.
The Ridge front nine remains open for regular play, and Stay & Play guests will still receive their full 18-hole experience — plus complimentary access to The Marsh.
Public rate for The Marsh is $34 or unlimited golf for $50
6 holes takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes — perfect for a quick round after work or a fun evening on the course. Public welcome!
The Marsh opens May 29th!
