Some days I feel like I'm absolutely crushing it, and other days I wonder if I'm dropping every ball at once. If you've ever felt that way too, tell me I'm not the only one!?
There are days when running a small business feels like standing on top of the world... and days when it feels like you're carrying the whole world.
I'm the owner, the baker, the decorator, the bookkeeper, the marketer, the customer service department, the dishwasher, the inventory manager, and most importantly, I'm still a wife, a mom, and a homemaker.
The laundry doesn't stop because I have 100 mini cakes to bake.
Dinner still has to be made.
The dishes still pile up.
The emails still need answering.
The orders still need filling.
And there are nights when I'm still working long after everyone else has gone to bed.
Some days I question if I'm doing enough.
Some days I wonder if anyone notices the countless hours behind every dessert.
Then there are days when a customer smiles, leaves a kind review, or tells me I made their celebration special... and suddenly every early morning and late night feels worth it.
Small business isn't just a job. It's a piece of your heart wrapped up in long hours, sacrifices, and hope.
If you've ever owned a business, raised kids while chasing a dream, worked two jobs, or simply felt stretched in a hundred different directions, I'd love to hear from you.
๐ What's the hardest part of balancing work and life for you?
๐ And what's the one thing that keeps you going?
Let's remind each other that none of us are doing this alone ๐ซถ
(And yes I'm tired in this pic)
