🔥 Today’s the Day! We’re Open! 🔥

After the fire, countless hours of hard work, and so much support from our community, we are incredibly excited to finally open our doors again today!

As we get back into the swing of things, we kindly ask for your patience and grace. Our team is excited to serve you, but there may be a few bumps along the way as we settle back in. Please be kind to our staff as they work hard to make your experience a great one.

We are beyond thankful and grateful for the love, encouragement, and support you’ve shown us throughout this journey. Your messages, prayers, and loyalty have meant more than words can express.

We were able to get most of our Tumbleweed family together for a fun Friday at Boulevard Brewing Company 🍻

A big thank you to Boulevard for having us! It was a fantastic day!

We’re happy to share that all of our staff will be coming back…minus one. Carter is graduating high school from Gardner Edgerton High School and will be working at his family’s new nursery this summer before heading off to college. We’re going to miss you, Carter!

We’re currently hoping to reopen in late May. As soon as we have a more exact date, we’ll be sure to announce it.

Thank you all so much for your patience and support. We are beyond excited to get back at it and work together again as a team and as a family ❤️

We’re thrilled to announce that “The W**d” is coming back! After the fire, it’s taken time, patience, and a lot of hard work—but with your support, we’re closer than ever to reopening.

We’re partnering with Ed Moore Construction, a local, family-owned, third-generation company. As a third-generation family business ourselves, this rebuild is extra special❤️—it’s a celebration of three generations of dedication, hard work, and love for our community. Together, we’re reinventing a community staple while preserving the good ole feeling of “The W**d” that you know and love.

We’re updating, refreshing, and bringing new life to our space—but keeping it familiar and welcoming, like home❤️. Our goal is to reopen in mid- to late April, and we can’t wait to welcome back our Tumbleweed family ❤️

Please join us for a relaxed and heartfelt evening as we honor and remember David “Herbie” Meyer — a Vietnam Veteran, a Proud Patriot, and someone who meant so much to so many.

A Happy Hour will be held on Friday March 20th at the American Legion Post 153 410 E. Dennis Ave. Olathe, KS 66061 from 5:30–8:00 P.M., with Military Honors taking place at 6:00 p.m.

This will be a time to come together, share memories, laughter, and stories, and celebrate the life and legacy Herbie leaves behind. We hope you’ll join us in raising a glass in his honor.

Unfortunately, situations like this take longer than anyone hopes. Between inspections, repairs, approvals, and the added delays that come with the holidays, the process has been slower than expected.

Please know we are working as quickly and carefully as possible to get everything done the right way. We can’t wait to welcome you back and truly appreciate your patience, support, and kind messages during this time. 🙏🏼
