Hello Garden City,

Yesterday about 6:45am California time, my brother came into my mother’s room to wake her up to get ready for a new day as usual and soon my brother found out that my mom was no longer responding, it was the most devastating news that I’ve received in such a beautiful morning.
I couldn’t explain the sorrow and pain that went through my soul at the moment, I’ve lost the woman who means the world to me and always be there for me when the darkest times in my life.
My mom is a very forgiving and caring, just a very typical Asian woman who sacrificed all her life to love her husband and children, and I wouldn’t forgive myself for not doing enough and not being by her sick bed in the past few weeks of her life, I was supposed to go to California last week to visit her but she kept telling me and my wife not to because she was afraid that we would have to close our business and we are facing a very difficult time right now. My mom would think of me and my business first even when she’s fighting with illness and deep down inside she really wants to see me.
I Miss you and love you so much mom, and now you’re in heaven, please forgive me for not being there when you needed, but you are forever in my heart, I will think of you every day for the rest of my life till we meet again.

Hi everyone,
We will be closing from this coming Friday, July 29th to August 4th, 2022. I will be going to California to celebrate my mom’s 86th birthday, we will be open again on August 5th, 2022 as normal business hour, from 10am to 8:30pm, we thank you again for your support and we will see you soon

Hello everyone,
It’s kind of funny that I’ve randomly ran to quite a few of my customers and they all asked me the same question, “when did you get back? Did you open your restaurant already?” We have been opened since last Friday, my trip went well, my mom is ok, just has to use the walker when she needs to move around, I have a great time with my family, so we have been opening already, so hopefully that you guys will come back to support us and thanks for all the prayers and support, we will see you soon.

Hi everyone,
On Monday 01/31/2022 we will be closing until Friday 02/04/2022, I will be visiting my dear mother in California for a few days, she’s dealing with arthritis and back spasms really bad in the past weeks, Saigon’s Corner will be reopening on Friday, 02/04/2022 as normal business hours, please come to see us from now until Sunday of this week to get your feast before next Monday, thanks again for your support and sorry for any of inconvenience.

Starting next Monday, 01/31/2022, Saigon’s Corner will be closed until Friday of the same week, 02/04/2022. We will be going to California to visit my mom for a few days, she’s not doing so well right now , I will back on Thursday and get everything ready for Friday opening, please come to get your Saigon’s feast from now until Sunday of this week, thanks everyone for supporting and sorry for the inconvenience.

Due to New Year’s Day of 2022 and critical weather condition, we will be closing tomorrow, Jan 1st, 2022. The restaurant will be open as normal business hours from 10am-8:30pm on Sunday, Jan 2nd, have a wonderful holiday and be safe everyone.

Hello all of my dear friends and customers of Saigon’s Corner,

Thanksgiving is approaching, the holiday which we’ve all been waiting for every year, it’s a very special holiday in which we give thanks to God almighty, people that we love, what we have and inherited, and more importantly, to thank for our family who stand by us thru thick to thin during the pandemic which killed millions around the world in the past 2 years. Myself and Saigon’s Corner has more things to be thankful for, we thanks our great community of southwest Kansas, especially garden city have been continued supporting our establishment in the past 6 years, without you guys, there wouldn’t be Saigon’s Corner, you guys played a big role on making me a better man, a better cook, making Saigon’s corner restaurant become best of the best Asian restaurant two years in a row, you guys making the unthinkable happen. Again, it triggered my thoughts to write this thank you post before thanksgiving day to express my heart and soul, we wish all of you and your loved ones a great holiday, and continue to support Saigon’s Corner and all of other small businesses here in garden City. Hi everyone,

It’s been a great vacation, I’ve gotten a chance to see my mom and my siblings in California, it’s really good for California to get back to the new normal self, slowly but surely, the beaches are getting busier, restaurants and businesses starting to open again, anyway, I am going back to garden tomorrow and Saigon’s corner will be open on Wednesday this week, I miss my kitchen, I miss my customers, the kitchen should be immaculate when I return, see you guys.

Started from this coming Monday, September 6th, we will be closing the restaurant, we will be re-open as normal business hour on Wednesday, September 15th. My wife and I will go to California to visit my mom and family, and also will take advantage of this opportunity to deep clean and sanitize the dining and kitchen area to maintain the best food safety for our customers.
