UPDATE:

Our missing decor has been recovered with no harm done and no hard feelings.
We are so grateful and so blessed and we love all of our amazing neighbors. We love this community. We love calling Galesville home❤️

Thank you to the group involved in this for a very entertaining video souvenir 🤭

🫶Thank you beautiful family of friends for all your support, kindness and love. We see it and feel it every single day 💗

🥰We will move forward from here continuing to spread love and kindness and making sure everyone around us feels safe and loved 😍

‼️‼️‼️
Well….this isn’t exactly how we wanted to start this beautiful day but unfortunately after watching our cameras we saw all of the people outside the bars last night messing with our freshly decorated storefront. Some of our decor is missing and we know exactly who everyone on camera is. We know it’s our own risk putting stuff outside for our community to enjoy, just know if you wanted some decor for yourself all you had to do was ask, we would have been happy to donate that particular gourd you were so interested in.

🍎 Why shop Downtown Galesville during Apple Affair tomorrow?

Because when you shop downtown, you’re supporting so much more than the item in your bag. ❤️

Our downtown businesses are here all year long — opening their doors, showing up for our community, and investing in Galesville.

They donate to local fundraisers, benefits, schools, organizations and community efforts.

They pour their hard-earned money back into preserving, improving and maintaining our historic downtown buildings — buildings that are part of what makes Galesville so special.

They pay property taxes, utilities, insurance, licenses and city permits. They employ local people, hire local contractors and purchase from other area businesses whenever they can.

They plan events, offer specials, decorate storefronts and help bring visitors into Galesville — visitors who also stop for gas, grab something to eat, visit another shop and put more dollars into our local economy.

And behind every one of those storefronts is a real person or family who took a chance on our little town and continues to choose Galesville every single day.

So while you’re enjoying Apple Affair tomorrow, we hope you’ll take a little extra time to wander through Downtown Galesville. 🍎

Walk through the doors. Say hello. Browse the shops. Grab a coffee or something to eat. Discover a business you’ve never been inside before.

You might be surprised by everything our downtown has to offer.

Shop small. Shop local. Support the businesses that support Galesville all year long. ❤️

We can’t wait to see our downtown FULL tomorrow! 🍎
