Alright, me lovely people, I've done it AGAIN. Another brilliant weekend of live music at Frank O'Dowd's Irish Pub.

I know, I know... "Seamus, how do you keep putting together such magnificent entertainment?"

Natural talent, me friends. Natural talent. And absolutely no shortage of confidence. 😏☘️

🎸 THURSDAY | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
We're kickin' things off with The Danny Parker Project! They'll be bringing the tunes, and I'll be bringing the devastating Irish charm. Seems like a fair division of labor to me.

🍀 FRIDAY | 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
We've got Ian Gould & Lukas Jaegger taking over the pub! Grab yourself a pint, order something delicious, and settle in because these lads know how to get a Friday night properly started.

🎻 SATURDAY | 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
The incredible Wendy Lynn Markus is back with that fiddle of hers! She's starting us off at lunchtime because apparently some of you respectable people like your live music BEFORE dark.

But WAIT...

🎻 SATURDAY | 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
SHE'S BACK AGAIN!

That's right. Wendy's playing TWICE on Saturday! Two performances in one day. Even I admire that kind of commitment to being the center of attention—and that's saying something.

🍻 SUNDAY | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Just when you thought the weekend couldn't possibly give you any more, Wendy Lynn Markus returns AGAIN to close us out Sunday evening!

At this point, I'm considering giving the woman her own key to the pub.

So there ya have it. FOUR DAYS of live music, cold pints, great food, questionable decisions, and yours truly supervising the whole operation.

Cancel whatever boring plans you thought you had.

The laundry will still be there Monday.
The grass can wait.
And nobody ever told a good story that started with, "So I stayed home all weekend..."

OI, GALENA! Seamus here, and I’ve had a look at this weekend’s entertainment lineup… and once again, I’ve outdone myself. 😏🍺

🎸 THURSDAY, AUGUST 13 | 6–9 PM
The lovely and talented Meghan Davis kicks off the weekend! Grab yourself a pint, settle in, and let Meghan remind you why Thursday is basically just Friday with responsibilities. 🍻🎶

😂☘️ FRIDAY, AUGUST 14 | 7–9 PM
The Celtic Rovers are rollin’ into the pub! Great Celtic tunes, plenty of laughs, and just enough mischief to make you question whether that second pint was really your idea.
(It was. And I support you.) 🍺

💃🍀 SATURDAY, AUGUST 15
5 PM — THE IRISH DANCERS!
They’ll be kickin’ their heels higher than Seamus can reach — which, admittedly, isn't saying much. Come early, grab a good seat, and watch these talented dancers take over the pub!

🎻 7–9 PM — THE CELTIC ROVERS RETURN!
Because one night simply wasn’t enough! They’re back for round two with more music, more laughs, and probably a few folks in the audience who were here Friday and never quite found their way home. 😂🍻

We’re winding down the weekend with the lovely Marques Morel! Sit back, order something delicious, raise a glass, and enjoy the perfect Sunday evening in the pub.

The wonderfully talented Kristina Casteneda takes the stage with her smooth music and angelic voice that'll melt the stress right off your shoulders. It's like therapy... only with better food and a proper pint in your hand.

The one and only Barry Cloyd rolls into Frank O'Dowd's with that soul-searching voice of his. Don't be surprised if you leave humming tunes you haven't thought about in twenty years.

FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR! The marvelous Wendy Lynn Markus is bringing her incredible electric violin to lunchtime! That's right—why should the early meal crowd miss out on all the fun? Come enjoy a bite while she fills the pub with enough beautiful music to convince your sandwich it's dining in Ireland.

We're wrapping up the weekend with The Danny Parker Project, bringing all your favorite songs that'll transport you back to those sneaking-out, windows-down, no-responsibility kind of days. If you find yourself singing every word... don't worry, we promise not to tell your age.

All request shows in Galena take on a whole new meaning sometimes. This weekend was one for the books at Frank O'Dowds Irish Pub. We had so much fun. Thanks to everyone who travelled from Chicago, Wisconsin and Iowa for the shenanigans!

🍋‍🟩☘️ OI NOW… TEQUILA IN AN IRISH PUB?! ☘️🍋‍🟩

Before ye start clutchin’ your Guinness and questioning me Irish credentials, hear me out…

It’s NATIONAL TEQUILA DAY! 🎉 And Seamus has never been one to ignore a perfectly good excuse for a celebration. I’m Irish, not unreasonable. 😏

🍹 We’ll be running TEQUILA SPECIALS throughout the evening — but I’m not spillin’ all me secrets here. Come into Frank O’Dowd’s, pull up a chair, and ASK US ABOUT THE SPECIAL! 👀

And because tequila tastes even better with a proper soundtrack…

🎶 KATIE SULLIVAN will be filling the pub with her music and Irish charm! ☘️ There’ll be songs, stories, laughter, and possibly a few people suddenly convinced they can sing after a tequila or two. 😂
