The Galax Smokehouse Sharing fantastic prices, friendly service, and award-winning BBQ with our patrons every day! We couldn't have done any of this without our awesome patrons.

Opened back in 2003, the last 15 years have seen The Galax Smokehouse become the place to be in town for locals and visitors alike to enjoy some delicious BBQ. Earlier this year, we were fortunate enough to take over for the original owners, and we couldn't be happier to carry on the legacy created by Ronald and his team. So how do we repay them? Fantastic prices, friendly service, and award-winning BBQ every day! With a little help from St. Louis-style ribs, pulled pork, Texas beef brisket, smoked chicken, burgers, and a variety of secret sauces sure to excite BBQ fans of all kinds, we’re sharing meals, moments, and sincere gratitude with everyone who walks through our doors. So for Texas-sized portions of Memphis-style BBQ in the heart of a little Virginia mountain town, come on down to The Galax Smokehouse, roll up your sleeves, and dig in.
