🛶 What a night on Lake Lanier!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Full Moon Paddle at Longwood Park! From paddling under the evening sky to learning a little more about the lake and the world around us, it was such a fun way to spend a summer night in Gainesville. ✨🌊

Events like this take a team, and we’re incredibly grateful to the partners who helped make the evening possible! A huge thank you to Gainesville Parks & Recreation, Elachee Nature Science Center, Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, and Burton Outdoor Adventures for sharing your time, expertise and enthusiasm with our paddlers. Thank you to the Gainesville Fire Dept for joining us with your safety boat!

And, of course, thank you to everyone who grabbed a paddle and joined us on the water! We loved seeing so many people come out to experience Lake Lanier in a whole new way.

Finally, a big thank you to the Simons foundation and Main Street America for the science grant to help make our summer water exploration series possible!
